Item Description
Each is brass with adjustable bands. The Billy West ring shows rider on horseback plus name of club while the second ring has the same image but without the text on the top. The West ring has six-gun designs on each side. This was issued for the title Billy West published by Standard Comics in the late 1940s. Text on their No. 1 front cover urged readers to join a club to receive this ring, a secret code, a membership card and a full color photo. General wear but Fine. Second ring replaces the guns on the sides with the name “Cisco Kid.” In addition a thin area of the inner band has text reading “Japan C 1950 PP.” This ring probably had silver luster at one time but most of the finish is now brass. We’re not sure of the issuer of this ring as the Dell comic did not begin until 1951. Ring is undamaged other than the loss of the thin silver flashing. Robert Overstreet Collection. Comes with Hake’s COA.
