In 1940 Lux Soap offered various premiums inspired by jewelry worn in the movie by Scarlet. There were two brooch designs, one identical to the center image of this bracelet and a second which simply was decorated with simulated pearls. We know from an order blank that the brooch with pearls was also offered in an identically designed 3-segment bracelet. We've never seen documentation to confirm that this cameo version design was also a Lux offer but it seems most likely considering that a bracelet was issued for the other brooch version. This piece is 8" long with brass chains plus two smaller brass segments featuring cameo-like centers surrounding the larger identical center. Center piece has just a touch of light age tone on the woman's hair area but overall the piece displays N. Mint with brilliant full luster. First we've seen.
