Item Description
1.5x2.75x6.25" tall empty box. Issued in 1942 by Milkes Company but part of a rare and uncatalogued additional series. This box is for "Marines" w/corresponding front image and side panel text as well as being listed on the back panel w/five others in this series "Tank, Office, Machine Gunner, Pursuit Ship, Sailor." This is a totally different set of six from those listed as ACC# R190. That series included Capt. Colin Kelly and Gen. MacArthur as well as a totally different "Machine Gunner." While boxes from that series are rare, the box we are offering is the only example we know of. Piece of clear tape at one back corner. Lt. neck crease. Still bright and clean. VF.
