Set of 48 numbered 125-172, each 2.25x2.75" w/color art fronts and scene text backs. ACC# R126. Issued by W.S. Corp ©1939. Pre-US involvement subject matter dealing with Germany invading Poland, Chamberlain declaring war against Germany, French efforts against Germany, a number of Nazi references, final card features Hitler with title "Hitler Makes Peace Proposal To Allies Which Is Turned Down." Cards have been neatly separated at perforations as intended. Very minor wear, a clean and EX/NM to NM set. Scarce.
