Original plain cardboard box contains 6" tall by 7" dia. mostly tin litho and plastic toy w/three-dimensional tin litho Dumbo figures w/intact rubber tails. Early 1960s. Box has toy name but no graphics. Some creases to top opened flaps, but o/w VF. Built-in key at top of carousel's central pole complete w/"To Wind" cardboard tag still in place. When Dumbo (w/trailing wire/striker attachment) passes over one of the seven tin litho keys inside carousel track/base, a musical note is heard. An eighth key is cardboard as produced. Tin litho carousel umbrella top has images of Mickey Mouse, Donald Duck and Goofy and this version comes w/3" rubber figures (w/inner wire armatures for posing) of Mickey, Donald and Goofy that can be placed on the Dumbo figures as if riding them. A version of this toy was produced w/a full color box, but did not include these figures. Figures were removed from original plastic bag (included) and come w/instruction sheet. Base of carousel has images of the Three Pigs playing music. Bright, glossy and in choice, NM condition. As nice as these come. Rare.
