Item Description
7/8" with gold text on blue "A Comics On Parade Booster." Tiny variation in the tone of the blue bkg. but o/w glossy and clean with just a trivial bit of age stain around the backpaper reading "Simon Co...N.Y.C." The design of this button is very similar to another comic book promotional button for Tip Top Comics. That one is pictured in the Hake Toy guide on page 725 but this is the first example we've seen of "Parade" title. The title started April, 1938 and the button likely dates from very close to that time period. Center of button is just the slightest bit convex but noticeable only to the touch. Displays glossy and Exc. Only one known.
