Item Description
5.5x20" tall colorful lithographed tin base drum with large paper drum head of Gene Autry. Made by Colmor. Tin sides have colorful repeat pattern of red, white, blue, yellow, green squares. Drum heads are held onto drum with metal springs. Attached to both sides of drum are 6" diameter smaller drums, one paper drum head broken. Also attached to top is 5" diameter red tiny symbol. Illustrated drum head is unbroken. 9" area along right margin of head is pushed in but remains unbroken. Paper head is evenly tanned with age. Set was likely issued with some support at bottom to prevent drum from rolling. c. 1940s. Displays well. VF.
