14.5x15.5x6" tall black felt hat with 1" wide hat band in white with black text. Text includes "Public Cowboy No. 1" and back of hat band reads "Licensor-Gruskin & Burns." Illustration and text in white reads "Gene Autry Public Cowboy No. 1" on both sides. Size 6-3/4. Light surface dust to black felt brim not affecting image or text. Holds its original shape. c. 1940s. VF.
