4.25x6.75x2.5" deep box contains 6" tall tin litho toy with built-in key. 1950s. ©KFS. Nicely illustrated lid features Popeye on top skating by Olive Oyl. Two side panels show Popeye, Olive and Swee' Pea all skating by Poopdeck Pappy. The plain box bottom is dented on sides. Box lid has tape reinforcement on 3 corners, side apron and across top. Small surface paper rubs. Still displays about VG. Toy depicts Popeye wearing roller skates and in pose holding a plate with can of spinach up into the air. Complete of pipe consisting of metal rod stem and wood bowl. Wears synthetic fabric pants. Toy works and he skates about while changing direction every so often. Fabric pants faded with two pinholes.
