Item Description
5” X 7” postcard showing photo of Elvis and the Colonel (who is dressed as Santa) standing on either side of the Christmas tree, with a large doll between them. Lower left hand corner has facsimile inscription/signature that reads “Season’s Greetings Elvis and the Colonel.” This card was issued in 1975 and reverse is unused except for an inked date. Center of card is boldly signed “Best Wishes Elvis Presley” in black ink. Inscription is large covering 2” X 2.50” area written overtop the Christmas tree directly between images of Colonel & Elvis. Small parts of lettering are over dark area of tree, but majority is over light area of tree so signature stands out nicely. Postcard has some minor color rubs along extreme edges and ¼” piece of clear tape at each corner tip although none of these would be visible if framed or matted. VF. Comes with a pair of 1977-1978 photocopies of letters from Elvis autograph authorities, both attesting to the authenticity of the signature. Also photocopy of letter from Vernon Presley. Comes with letter of authenticity from Hake’s Americana.
