Item Description
6.75” X 11” hand bill signed by Sinclair in top third in black felt tip pen. This is for the 1989 world premiere film “Ten for Two” documentary of the 1971 rock concert for radical John Sinclair, who was jailed for marijuana possession. He was release three days after the concert. John Lennon and Yoko Ono funded the event. John served as the films producer and controlled the rights to the film which was not shown until Yoko agreed in 1989 to show the film for only two days, April 1 at Royal Oak Music Theatre and the 2nd at Michigan Theatre, Ann Arbor. Hand bill includes complete list of performers, some of which were John & Yoko, Stevie Wonder, Phil Ochs, Allen Ginsberg, others. Title on top is designed with handcuffs and pair of joints. Additional text notes “party follows with cash bar and 2-joint raffle.” Mint. Comes with certificate of authenticity from Hake’s Americana.
