Item Description
This is issue #1 of the “X-Men” and introduces on of the most popular super-hero groups in modern comics, the X-Men. Group consists of characters Cyclops, Angle, Beast, Iceman & Marvel Girl. This issue also introduces their mentor Professor X and their first and main arch-villain Magneto. A classic issue written by Stan Lee with art by Jack Kirby. Issue was published by Kanam Publishing Sales Corp. in September 1963. Pages have some aging but colors remain bright. Pages are FN/VF. Covers have some moderate aging/spotting, pinch crease to spine and handling wear. Cover has a ¼” tear at middle of fair right margin and creases at corner. Cover is VG.
