Item Description
Published by Independent Publishers Syndicate in 1978. Comic has been
“slabbed” and graded by CGC at a NM/MT 9.8 with white pages. This
book feature the first appearance of Elfquest, an Independent comic which
ushered in a new age of independent comics in the 1980’s. Features
back-up story with art by independent great Dave Sim. We offered a 9.6 graded
example of this comic in auction 183 and this is a 9.8. According to the CGC
census, no Fantasy Quarterly #1 is listed with a higher grade then 9.8.
