Item Description
5.75” X 9” Herald for the 1938 Universal serial starring Buster Crabbe. Herald features nice image of Buster Crabbe as Flash Gordon as well as several co-stars including Ming the Merciless and spaceship in background. Herald advertises “15 Startling Chapters Of Further Adventures On A New Planet!” Back of this herald has advertisement for the Capital Theater. Very reminiscent of front image, this instead includes some illustrations as well as photo images of the actors. Herald has some light aging. Two hole punches at left mid margins with 1/8” tears. Some moderate margin wear. Fine. Rare and first we’ve seen.
