Pair of trimmed newspaper pages measuring 10.50” X 14.75” & 10.75” X 15”. From two consecutive Sunday’s. First is for May 31, 1942 and features a re-print of Superman’s origins. Copyright McClure Newspaper Syndicate. Features nice image of Superman in classic breaking chain image in last panel. Second page is from June 7, 1942 from “The Detroit News.” Strip features classic images of Superman breaking through wall, lifting car and standing in front of American flag. Pages have small pencil notations in bottom right hand corners. Lightly aged but still extremely vibrant. Exc.
