Lot of 4 glossy 8” X 10” for various Universal Pictures starring Lon Chaney Jr. First in lot is that of the Wolfman and shows a nice image of Chaney as the Wolfman holding onto tree branch with imposing shadow behind. This still has some wear to left hand margin and a 1.50” strip of age toning at left. Next still in lot is a picture of Chaney as the Frankenstein Monster in “The Ghost of Frankenstein” from 1942. In the scene he is chained in a chair surrounded by a policeman as his friend, a young girl stands in front of him. Remaining two stills are from the 1942 film “The Mummy’s Tomb.” First image shows scene of policeman attacking the Mummy, played by Chaney as house burns. Last still shows man beside stricken woman wielding torch at a recoiling Mummy. This still is interesting due to the fact that in the film, this exact scene was shot with the actors back towards us, not facing us as seen in this still. Last three stills have some aging but are clean and very glossy and VF.
