Item Description
From the collection of Sen. Phil Arthurhultz, and comes with certificate signed by him and Ted Hake. 7.50” x 8.75” x 3.50” deep metal box unmarked but 1960’s. Front panel has image of Canada Goose and Mallard Duck. Back panel shows Ring-Necked Pheasant and Hungarian Partridge. Box has scattered rim wear to front panel and heavier, moderate rim wear to back panel. Back panel also has a 1/.25” hairline scratch on the Mallard Duck image with traces of bare metal showing. Metal clasp retains full luster. Back panel has two pinpoint concave dents, which do not break paint and are only noticeable in reflected light. Front panel has one pinpoint concave dent which only noticeable in reflected light. Technically FN, box retains much brightness and glossiness and panel images are VF. Sen. Phil knows of only two examples of this box. Rare.
