Item Description
1.25" reading "Follow The Adventures Of Flash Gordon - Buster Crabbe Movie Club." On bkg. in tiny barely readable letters, is "From Alex Raymond's Famous Newspaper Story." Button was issued c. 1938 to promote Flash Gordon serials an there is a matching "Movie Club" members card (shown in Hake's Price Guide To Character Toys). A rare button close to Mint with trivial surface wear only under magnification. Complete with original "Phila. Badge Co." paper. The third example we've been able to offer in 38 years. Our last four years ago topped $1,700.
