14x16.5" black wood frame has 13x15.25" opening revealing contractor unable to build because all of his potential workers are in the pool hall. Caption at upper right "Try These About Eleven O'Clock Any Nice Spring Morning." Image area is evenly tanned overall with light moisture marks around sides of image area, right side is missing a few .75"-1" bits of surface paper. Good. Signed at lower right in ink by artist. c. 1920s.
