Item Description
Lot of three. 8.5x11" typed letter to Autry fan on "Wm. Wrigley Jr. Co." stationery dated November 24th, 1943. Letter of appreciation to Autry fan with text including "We, Too Hope That Gene Will Be Back On The Air To Entertain All Of Us Again, But, Of Course, Do Not Have Any Idea When This Could Be." Considering this was WWII vintage, Gene was serving his country. Letter comes with original envelope, torn at top. Also 2.75" stick of Wrigley's Doublemint chewing gum with wrapper reading "Compliments Of Gene Autry/Listen To Melody Ranch Sundays Over CBS." Envelope shows wear, letter and gum remain bright, clean, interesting and Exc.
