Item Description
8.5x22". Dated November 22, 1937. Contract for Lee Powell to play role of Allan King/The Lone Ranger at a salary of $100 per week. This was for the first Lone Ranger movie serial released in 1938. Back bottom of contract is signed by Lee Powell and producer E.H. Goldstein. Both men's initials by typed-in area on front indicating Powell was to play "The Lone Ranger." Comes with 7.5x10" glossy photo of Powell as The Lone Ranger. Contract is folded at center with margin wear at top. Important and unique. From the Collection of Snuff Garrett, renowned Hollywood music producer.
