Item Description
14.5" long tin litho/hard plastic toy by Mego/Yonezowa, Japan. Late 1960s. Old store stock and box is complete with inserts. Light box wear with small tape residue stains on two side panels. VF. Toy is very nicely detailed including "United States/NASA" names and US flag. Toy works and travels with automatic stop-and-go action. Has realistic jet engine noise and "The Rocket Rises Upward In Stop Position And The Inner Capsule Appears With Flashing Light On As The Top Cover Opens And Splits To Separate Hatches." Toy has some scattered pinpoint paint nicks as produced, N. Mint.
