The mostly tin litho toy with built-in key is Japanese and by Bullmark. Based on the 1973-74 cartoon series by Tatsunoko Productions who also produced Battle of the Planets. Old store stock and box has original insert. Box shows very light wear, VF. Base of the toy is 6x6x1.5" tall and separate plastic spaceship on wire attaches for total height of 7". Base features images of Casshan and other characters from the show. Toy works and as the spaceship rotates, so do a pair of trains going in and out of a tunnel, bell also rings. Base has scattered tiny paint nicks as produced. Exc.
