18x12" envelope contains complete and unused paper items for premium kit c. 1944. Brown mailing envelope is without mailing label and features illustrations on both sides. Front shows Dick Tracy w/all of the items from the kit, reverse has assembly instructions. The 5x7" manual opens to four panels w/total length of 20". Manual was issued in two varieties. This is "Type 1" which includes anti-Japanese propaganda and shows a U.S. Marine taking Japanese soldier into custody. This was eliminated in the "Type 2" manual which was also issued w/different mailer. Set originally had two two 7.25x11.5" stiff paper sheets w/punchout parts for Secret Symbol Decoder, Detective Badge, Certificate of Membership. This lot is missing the sheet with the membership card. Other parts include 18" paper "Suspect Rule" height measurement wall chart, "Saboteur Suspect" identification sheets. Punchout sheet items have a few loose perforations, entire premium lot is unused and Exc. to NM. Nicely designed kit. This item is a file copy from the Gold archives and is accompanied by a letter to that effect signed by Gordon Gold.
