Item Description
6x8" envelope contains unused premium c. 1942 issued by Miller Brothers Hat Co. Envelope features illustration of Junior wearing "Dick Tracy" badge and standing next to list of items in this kit. Reverse of envelope includes instructions for making Dick Tracy's Automatic and Code Flasher out of household items. Lt. dust soiling, mostly on back but Exc. The various paper sheets and items range in size from 4x6" to 6x8". "Detective's Notebook" w/four pages "Of Anti-Sabotage Tactics, Shadowing, Etc." There are two bwr comic strip sheets. The set comes with two different, but those found here are duplicates of the same sheet. Each featuring different Dick Tracy mystery scene on front, "Shep The Police Dog" comic strips on back, both featuring Tracy. There is a cardboard puzzle w/pieces both unpunched and several featuring many different characters. Final two items stiff paper punchout sheets w/pieces for assembly of a "Slide-O-Graph With 3 Secret Codes And How To Spot Officers In Our Armed Forces" as well as a Junior Detective badge. These sheets have a couple of loose perforations o/w kit is unused and Mint. This item is a file copy from the Gold archives and is accompanied by a letter to that effect signed by Gordon Gold.
