Front cover has "Hopalong Cassidy" name. Back cover is also revised picture of Hoppy at lower left holding gun in hand. Inside front cover has hand-colored "Foreword" photostat introduction. Remaining 48 pages are applied back-to-back b/w photostats virtually identical to #2278 although Hopalong Cassidy name has been added to several pages and many have been partially or completely accented in watercolors and/or ink colors. Outer covers have light dust soiling and both have a small design note or similar in pencil. Fine and unique. c. 1950s. This item is a file copy from the Gold archives and is accompanied by a letter to that effect signed by Gordon Gold.
