Item Description
Tri-fold die-cut herald for the 1933 release of the classic big monster tale, “King Kong.” 4”x7” 4-panel herald opens to 16”. For the 1933 film starring Fay Wray. Features stunningly beautiful art with scenes closely mimicking those from film. Interior panels are in b/w and exterior panels are in color with third panel being blank with theatre imprint. The faintest trace of aging and slight insect damage to top margin of first panel with a .5” tear at right margin of front panel. VF with Exc. images. 11”x14” lobby card for the 1956 re-release shows nice art image of a snarling King Kong holding Fay Wray and color image of Kong approaching Wray in tree. Some light handling wear with staple holes at each corner but still Exc.
