Item Description
4”x8.50”x1.25” deep cardboard pencil box manufactured by American Pencil Company circa 1936. Cardboard box with textured paper covering and snap closure. Scene on top is of Buck, Wilma and Dr. Huer in space with rocket ship while scene on bottom panel is of Buck, Wilma, Killer Kane and Ardala. Side with snap features Buck name, opposite side is rocket ship design. Opens to reveal storage area that includes a slide-out tray. Light scattered surface dust with a 1” split to hinge lid on left and .25” split on right. Some wear to printed images. Interior has inked name as does top panel. Some aging and soiling. Bottom tray front panel has broken but is still included. VG.
