Auction #187 - Part I
Item numbers 1 through 926 in auction 187
Item Description
2.5" tall when opened, lithographed tin badge with vertical pin on reverse and fabric cord below. When closed, cord is pulled and a litho tin oval flies into view at the top. Portrait of Harrison has microscopic craze lines all over but image is still clear and distinct. Paint wear around the outer edges has worn off some of the lettering of "Benjamin Harrison" but about 50% of the lettering remains. On the front case, flower at top left is missing spot of paint 1/8" x 3/8" plus a couple of hairline scratches and a wear mark over the letter "Y" of "MY." Overall still VG and working perfectly. Listed in Hake as #3190 with 2004 revised price of $550.
