Item Description
Professionally matted and framed. 29x34" overall. 16x21" supplement to the New York Evening Journal dated Saturday, Sept. 21, 1901 (seven days after he assumed office). 8.5x11" typed letter signed with 3" signature reading "T. Roosevelt." Letterhead reads "Office Of Theodore Roosevelt/Metropolitan 432 Fourth Avenue New York." Dated October 25, 1917 to Judge Charles L. Brown of Philadelphia. Content reads "My Dear Judge: I Thank You. I Only Wish I Could Do More For Your Admirable Court. Faithfully Yours, T. Roosevelt." Both letter and paper are tanned with age and show some light general handling wear. Nicely displayed with gold trim accents around matte. Comes with Hake's COA.
