11/16" litho reads "Save Rakosi." In 1952 he became Prime Minister of Hungarian Peoples Republic. In 1953 Imre Nagy became Prime Minister, but Rakosi was still party chief. In June, 1956, Rakosi was attacked by the party press and the Soviet leaders, fearing revolution, forced him to step down. First we've seen. Essentially Mint.
