Item numbers 1 though 933 in auction 188
Item Description
1.25" reads "Winners Eat Ward's Tip-Top Bread." Displays totally clean and glossy but in reflected light there is wear. Around "Joe" are a couple tiny scuffs. Crossing nose and mouth are 3 hairline scratches .5" or less. Touching cheek on left is deeper hairline scratch .25" long and mostly on bkg. Most importantly, these marks show only in certain reflected light angles. There is no stain. Reverse has union bug stamp. Along collet are 5/16" and 3/16" hairline cello splits, each with just a tinge of stain but cello lays totally flat and causes no visual problem. As a real photo without dot pattern, this button is even rarer than the previous two DiMaggio lithos. Displays essentially Mint with normal straight-on viewing. Listed in Muchinsky book as Z-49 with $2,500 value.
