Item Description
8.5" long cast polished aluminum 1940. This toy is model of Maserati Speedster driven to victory by Wilbur Shaw in 1937 and 1939 at Indianapolis 500. Letters and signature are highlighted with red paint as is interior. Rubber tires marked "Firestone." Body of racer has light overall trace of aging but remains bright with much luster. Exc. This interesting toy/souvenir was sold in 1940 for $2.50.
