Item Description
6" tall painted celluloid with built-in key made in Japan by Kuramochi, 1930s. Sturdy box with plaid design has a few ripples on one side of lid, applied colorful label has slight darkening with age. Fine. Toy works and chick on top of egg flaps its wings and chirps quite loudly. Painted accents on toy appear to be hand-applied. Minimal wear. Exc. Unusual and neat toy.
