Scarce portrait button. 1.75" showing him in Cleveland Indian uniform. Convex button surface is a little uneven but this is just noticeable to the touch. In reflected light there is a very faint .25" line across the center of his face plus a faint 1" hairline scratch that partly crosses the face and goes onto his shoulder. Both defects are not apparent at all when viewed straight-on. Piece is totally clean and has high gloss. A rare and very desirable 1940s stadium button.
