Item Description
Tin litho toy with built-in key has an assembled size of 4x4x12" tall to the top of the counterweight sign. By Yoneya, Japan c. 1958. Box has light wear, corner tear but still bright and clean. VF. Toy consists of tin base with simulated craters and the swing unit attaches to this. The center of the platform base has a 3" long minor hairline scratch caused when we assembled the toy for our photograph, however obviously not visible when toy is assembled. Swing unit attaches to the base. This includes a 3.5" tall robot figure and counterweight sign that has the same image on each side of "Baby" robot with hands in the air. Toy works and robot swings as it opens and closes its mouth. Toy has just some minute scattered paint nicks as produced as well as red factory paint touch-up to edges of his feet. Toy is essentially NM as issued. Great concept and design.
