Item Description
Full-body Palooka puppet measures 14" tall. Humphrey hand puppet measures 10" tall. Both by National Mask And Puppet, c. early 1950s. Both have thin, pliable rubber heads. Humphrey's head has hardened. Palooka's head remains pliable although same material for hands and feet have hardened. Palooka has some staining to head as well as .25" area of rust soiling at shirt cuffs where hands are attached by staple on either side of shirt cuff. VG/Fine. Humphrey has .5" crack at chin with 1/16x.25" chip missing. Original felt hands with attached bells remain intact. Small tears to fabric body. VG/Fine. Rare pair.
