Item Description
8.5x12x2-3/8" deep box contains 10" tall full-bodied puppet with "Life-Like Vinylite" head, hands and feet. By National Mask And Puppet, 1952. Box text reads "The Joe Palooka's Present Their Baby Joan Palooka" and features Ham Fisher's Joe Palooka, wife Ann and baby Joan illustration. Box lid shows obvious wear, particularly along edges and at corners. One corner split and .5x.75" surface paper lift in upper right-hand corner of main panel. Box bottom includes original insert and corners remain tight. Box VG. Comes with 5.5x8.5" instruction sheet which has been folded once as issued. Puppet itself has attached baby blanket to hide hand when in use. This blanket has scattered age spotting and is VF. Puppet itself is bright, clean and vinyl remains pliable. Exc.
