Item Description
15/16" brass with small top center hole as issued holding a pair of ferrotype portraits. One side depicts "Victoria" with "Albert" by her side. The rim on this side reads "Victoria Regina." On the opposite side is their son as a teenage boy with caption above "Prince Of Wales." Images are both N. Mint and brass frame has much original luster. The wreath design on one side of the brass frame is extremely similar to that used on 1860 presidential campaign ferrotypes and we believe this piece is c. that time period. From the Hake collection.
