Auction #182 - Part I
Item numbers 1 through 1499 in auction 182
Item Description
1-5/16" unmarked but almost certainly silver pin with die-cut wreath and shield design at center. Upper panel has silver lettering surrounded blue enamel "God Save Our Queen." White ribbons below read "Victoria Jubilee 1887." Tiny bit of enameling loss around the letters of the upper slogan but hardly noticeable without magnification. All other enameling is intact. Reverse has horizontal hinged bar pin which looks original but which is also a bit longer so that it protrudes from the right side. An exceptionally well made piece. From the Hake collection.
