11/16" litho with logo at center and rim text "Russian-American Industrial Corporation." 1/8" paint hairline off left edge, rest is Mint. Button was issued to note August 20, 1921 founding of a commerical company with mixed joint stock capital, becoming the first large corporation organized by an American labor union with the Soviet government. Event preceded by a year Armand Hammer's acquistion of a concession agreement with the Soviets. Rare and first seen.
