Item Description
Buttons are .75" and 7/8" issued for German Day in 1936 and 1937. The 1936 issue includes "Freiheit Und Kultur." Has B. Harris NYC backpaper as does the 1937 issue with rim title "The German American League For Culture." Third item is 5/8" silvered brass showing head of Statue of Liberty with above text "Freedom/Democracy/Volksehco." Original card pencil dated "May 1939" with text "We Welcome You To The Friends Of The German Peoples Echo." We believe the "Volksecho" was a German newspaper. Three pinholes on card, all else essentially Mint. Rare.
