Item Description
5x7". Glossy thin paper photos from 1911. Taft clearly visible wearing top hat seated in early open auto, one photo showing American flags above headlights. Each back marked in pencil "Taft At Atlanta" plus ink stamp of "American Press Assn." Minor edge curls, clean, Mint images. From the collection of Leroy T. Vernon, a campaign manager for Taft and later Washington D.C. reporter for the Chicago Daily News.
