Item Description
Lot of two, 5.75" each. Frank O. Lowden was Governor of Illinois 1917-1921. 1920 was candidate for Republican nomination for president. Gov. ribbon light handling creases. Colors remain bright on hopeful ribbon. From the collection of Leroy T. Vernon, a campaign manager for Taft and later Washington D.C. reporter for the Chicago Daily News.
