14x18" image in 19x23" wood frame. Illustration shows servicemen boarding interior of ship. Officer at right. Left foreground shows photographer taking photo of soldiers. Lower right shows "Log Book/USS Gen. G.M. Randall/AP 1 15". Upper left has artist name and year 1945 (partially matted out). Attached to back of art board is typed text "Coming Aboard/Soldiers Coming Aboard A Coast Guard Manned Troop Ship At Norfolk, VA. En Route To The South Pacific. Watercolor By Coast Guard Combat Artist Joseph DeGemma, Brooklyn, N.Y. Virginia, 1944."
