Item Description
17" wide by 23" tall. Two 18" fluorescent lights fit inside rwb colored tubes. Metal frame has one side painted red, other blue. Die-cut cardboard image of eagle with flag and stars and stripes design below fits into frame. Right wing of eagle creased with reinforcement on back. Metal chain is attached to top for hanging. Light surface dust to cardboard image. All metal remains bright and clean. Purchased from Landerhorn Department Store in Campaign, Illinois, January 1942 - just after Pearl Harbor. Made by Dearborn Modern Light Co. Original electric cord. Very impressive when lit. One of the best "Victory" items we've seen. VF.
