Item Description
7/8" reads "License - Local Option Percival W. Clement." Clement advocated end of state-wide prohibition in favor of "Local Option." Failing to get GOP 1902 governor nomination, he ran as the local option candidate. He ran again as Democrat and lost in 1906 but won in 1919. Extremely light age tone. Still displays Fine.
