Item Description
1.5x2.5x2.5" tall. Scene shows boy, dog, pie man holding large tray of pies. Man's hat reads "Pies." Design in base reads "Howard Johnson's/Corp. 1947/B V Baston." After surviving the Depression and before becoming a nationwide restaurant, they contact Bastian to design and produce 300 figurines for publicity purposes. Tiny flecks of paint loss on man's nose, apron, shoe, pants leg. VF.
