Item Description
5x5x7.5" tall plastic figural bank comes w/one-half pound vacuum can of Planters Peanuts. Bank contains original, unopened can of cocktail peanuts. Mechanism likely works, however, key is missing to unlock top of hat for access to can of peanuts and unlocked bottom bank trap. Very lt. paint rub along hat brim o/w machine is NM. Comes w/5.25x5.25x8" original cardboard box. Bank is pictured on each side w/text including "Fresh Refills Available Everywhere/Made By The Geo. S. Scott Mfg. Co./Wallingford, Conn., U.S.A." Back panel gives instructions for operation and text includes "Complete With 1/2 Lb. Vacuum Can Of Delicious Planters Peanuts/Uses Pennies, Nickels Or Dimes A Wonderful Savings Bank Holds Upwards Of $20 In Coins." Lt. surface wear. Box is VF, bank is N. Mint. c. 1960s.
