Lid features exceptional illustrations including different images on all side panels of Dr. Huer, Killer Kane, spaceships, etc. Box lid has neat glue repair to corner splits. Moderate dust soiling and scattered edge wear. Color rubs on box bottom. Fine. Complete with separate cardboard insert in black/gold with additional portraits of Buck, Wilma plus rocketship and rocket pistols. Insert has minor wear, VF. This box is rare and is only the third box we've ever offered and only the second time we've ever offered the insert. Also has small guarantee paper, lightly aged but Fine. The pocketwatch itself is 2" diameter with chromed metal case. Back of case has stamped image of Comet Man. Case has very minor wear but nearly full bright luster remains. Slight wear/yellowing of the crystal which has slight warp on bottom edge. Dial is as bright and clean as any we've ever seen. VF/Exc. A truly exceptional character timepiece.
